The reverse, by artist Susanna Ng, shows a ram's magnificent curled horns against bamboo, with the Chinese character for "sheep" 羊 below; the obverse carries Susanna Blunt's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. A lucky issue, too — the Mint struck exactly 88,888 of them, a number chosen for good fortune. Complete as issued: coin sealed in its capsule, in the maroon RCM clamshell with the certificate (the box shows honest wear at the corners — please see the photos).
